I was wondering exactly what to say since I seem to be on a rant today.  I suppose it is the stress of trying to get my blogs for this week finished.  I like what Lexie said in her response to the Silicon Ceilings article.

I can say that from the majority of career and technical meetings and seminars that I attend that the majority are men.  It really is a male-dominated field.          …I think modeling is the best example. And the earlier the better, possibly in even junior high.  We just need more models.

In order to have more females signing up for classes, they need to see more females teaching the classes.  I thought it was interesting that in the two classes I am taking that there are way more females in each class than males.  Times, they are achangin’.
