Time to Put the CATS out!
There is bill in the Senate right now that is suggesting a new form of testing that may potentially replace the 18 year old CATS testing.
I thought I would post an email that I received today. Whether you like the test or not, it would save the state a lot of money.
You can call 1-800-372-7181, which is the legislative hotline, and leave a message for your Senator and State Representative concerning Senate Bill 1. PLEASE call and encourage your Senator and Representative to VOTE FOR Senate Bill 1. This bill would ABOLISH the CATS Test. It is URGENT that everyone call as soon as possible!!! Call today and leave them a message that you want them to VOTE FOR Senate Bill 1.

I just called this number and believe it or not I actually talked to a real person. They took my information and what my message was and if I wanted to send it to both my Rep. and Senator. I was just impressed that I was able to speak to a real person who answered this hotline.
