This blog caught my eye mainly because I am in the stage of my life where I am extremely busy with home, motherhood, work and running my sons’ taxi service that I have to write everything down or I’ll forget something. My students don’t understand why they have to write in their agenda books that they were given on the first day of school. I showed them my agenda book and how I use it. The common response from my students is usuallly, “I can remember to do….”
Back to the article, it is interesting to learn how to effectively memorize text and I may implement this process the next time I need to remember something. The most impressive part to me was the tool that is provided. I had to view the actual post in order to copy and paste the text into the box and then press the convert box for it to construct the text into the first letter of each word.
Of course now I will have to memorize where I found the tool…(lucky for me this blog will be saved for future reference.)
I’m glad you liked the tool. Personally it only seems useful for memorizing verbatim text, but the principles can be used for memorizing almost anything.
